Giving Back

In addition to providing high-quality employment opportunities for our team and excellent products for our customers, we contribute time and money to worthwhile causes in our community.

Every quarter our team rallies behind a food drive for the hungry, toy collection for sick kids or some other impactful cause. And while the primary goal is usually to hit a certain fundraising quota, we can’t help but strive to have a lot of fun in the process.

Past beneficiaries of our charitable giving have been:

  • Capital Area Food Bank

    Capital Area Food Bank

We partnered with the Capital Area Food Bank to help them feed nearly 500,000 people in the Washington, D.C. area. This non-profit organization provides 37.5 million meals annually, along with educating the community about hunger and nutrition. We’re proud to have donated 600 pounds of food, and look forward to working with them again.

  • Playworks

    Playworks

Harnessing the power of play, Playworks brings out the best in every kid on elementary school playgrounds across America. They create a place where every kid belongs, has fun and is part of the game. And that positive experience gets carried back to the classroom, back to learning and back to their communities. The before and after impact of Playworks on a school and its children is truly amazing. Our own Phil Ash is a Washington, D.C. board member emeritus.

  • INOVA Fairfax Children’s Hospital

    INOVA Fairfax Children’s Hospital

INOVA Fairfax Children’s Hospital is a full-service children’s hospital that provides the highest level of patient care in Northern Virginia. They serve several thousand children every year. We were pleased to donate hundreds of items to be used in their playrooms, as prizes after medical procedures and as presents for birthdays and other events. These items provide comfort, security and happiness to patients during their stay.
